Edge Financial Technologies is seeking a revenue-seeking sales professional to lead our next growth phase. The successful candidate will initially serve as an individual contributor who builds revenue to support the growth of the consulting firm. the focus will be on acquiring new client accounts.
This is an excellent opportunity for an entrepreneurial sales person.
The Director of Business Development will:
- Own the sales strategy
- Establish target markets and customers, with the management team
- Set sales plan and modify it based on analysis of performance
- Coordinate planning with other functions, particularly marketing, service, and finance
- Create marketing strategies and execute marketing programs
- Work with CEO to develop channel and distribution strategies and programs
- Collaborate in the development of the marketing plan and pricing policies
Responsibilities:
- Cold calling prospects to establish dialogue and create sales opportunities.
- Build and manage a pipeline of prospects to closure.
- Make executive level presentations that communicate the company value proposition.
- Create and present professional quality proposals that address customer needs in terms of services we can deliver.
- Respond to inbound RFIs and RFPs as necessary.
- Provide upper management with highly reliable sales forecasts.
- Consistently meet or exceed quarterly quota.
- In addition to sales and marketing; this individual is expected to contribute in areas of partnerships, business strategy, and project delivery.
