Edge Financial Technologies is a growing software products and services firm seeking experienced software developers to work in our downtown Chicago office. Seeking candidates who have a passion for programming and solving complex problems. Any experience in the financial trading industry is a big plus. Excellent communication skills are required.

Responsibilities:
- Building trading systems using C# and .NET Framework
- Developing unit tests, functional tests and load tests

We are looking for a C# Developer with following skills:
Position Description:

• 4+ years of experience with C# experience
  
• MUST have excellent grasp of Object Oriented Programming
  
• MUST have knowledge of TCP/IP sockets
  
• MUST have working knowledge of multi-threaded programming with C#
  
• Strong Plus: Unit testing experience with NUnit or similar framework
• Bachelor degree or higher in Computer Science or related fields
  
• Ability to learn new technologies and skills quickly
  
• Ability to work effectively as an individual and as a member of a team
  
• Solid analytical and proble solving skills
  
• Passion for learning and creating
• Ability to thrive in a flexible, entrepreneurial work environment
  

Preferred skills:

• Working knowledge of Design Patterns 
• FIX Protocol experience
• Experience in the financial trading industry
• Any experience with agile or scrum methodologies
